Ernest Hemingway was a thrill-seeker eager for exoticism. He would womanize, hunt lions in Africa, supported the Republican side during the Spanish Civil War and reported on the D-Day invasion in Normandy.
But he would always return to his sole home port in Cuba, the Finca Vigía, nowadays a museum dedicated to this Literature Nobel Prize author, where the rudder of his boat, Pilar, is displayed.
We also visit his favorite places in Havana, the bars Floridita and the Bodeguita del Medio and the hotel Ambos Mundos where he used to rent a room.
