She released her first album in 1961, at the tender age of 22 which set the tone for what would become her trademark signature style, showcasing her sweet soprano voice backed by her trusty acoustic guitar.
Her first gold record was 1967's Wildflowers, which featured her hit cover version of Both Sides Now by Joni Mitchell. In 1975, Judy Collins won a Grammy Award for ‘Song of the Year’ for her version of Send in the Clowns, a ballad written by Stephen Sondheim for the Broadway musical "A Little Night Music." Her storied career would go on to include 5 more gold records.
She continues to delight audiences throughout the world with her distinctive blend of interpretative folk tunes that speak to the heart, as well as the soul.
